2 min read

This tutorial will show you how to add an email to Microsoft Outlook manually if the automated method fails. #

     1.  Open Outlook and enter your email as per the picture below.

Enter your email address, click on  Advanced options and then make sure the option “Let me set up my account          manually” is checked then click connect.

2.  On the next page it will ask you to choose what type of set up you want to use and then you must choose “IMAP”

3.  On the next page, enter your password then click “Connect”

4. On the next page you will be presented with an option to input your Incoming and Outgoing servers

On the incoming mail server use your full email address as the username and input your password making sure           the remember password option is checked.

Your mail server will be mail.yourdomain.com making sure you replace yourdomain.com with your own         domain name that your purchased in this case I will be using mine flour.co.zw so my incoming mail server will       be mail.flour.co.zw

The Port is 993 and make sure the encryption method is SSL/TLS as per the image below

5. Once you have entered your information click on OutGoing mail and from there, you enter your details in the              following format

On the server enter smtp.yourdomain.com making sure to replace your yourdomain.com with your own           domain that you purchased, in this case I am using mine flour.co.zw which makes my smtp server               smtp.flour.co.zw

The Port will be 465 and the encryption is SSL/TLS Always make sure to select “My outgoing SMTP server       requires Authentication” and it is set to use same settings as my incoming mail server.

6. And that’s it, you’re done, you click next and your email address will be added.
